Easter and Memorial Day also happened and then we were able to finally move into our house! We are home!!! I feel like North Carolina was so so good to us. We learned a lot, Jon was able to jump up in his career and we were able to really grow closer as a family. We met so many amazing people that I still miss and our eyes were opened to a lot. I'll forever be grateful for our time in North Carolina. It also always felt temporary and a necessary stepping stone in where we wanted to be but not a long term thing. Our home in Idaho is our home and we feel like we're doing and living where we're supposed to be.
Baseball season!
Look at that cute little man looking all grown up.
Aiden wasn't old enough for baseball this year so he and Sammy always liked the park toys
Soccer!
Funny story: the night our renters moved out she sent me a picture of this little kitten and said, "This kitten just came out from under the shed and apparently has made a home here." or something like that. I figured we'd find the owners that she belonged to but that was unsuccessful and the kids were immediately obsessed with her. So...our welcome home gift was a little kitten. It was kind of fitting since the same thing happened when we lived here before and now we have 3 outdoor cats. They keep the mice down but I hope no one else decides our house is a great place to drop off unwanted cats. We have enough! But we do love her.
