Easter, Memorial Day, sports games and moving in!

We kept really busy this spring but I loved it.  Between soccer, baseball and now gymnastics, the boys have stayed busy and one of my favorite things about being a parent is watching our kids get involved in things, working hard and getting better and better.  And, they have a lot of energy and I just really need them to run some of that out. ;)

Easter and Memorial Day also happened and then we were able to finally move into our house!  We are home!!!  I feel like North Carolina was so so good to us.  We learned a lot, Jon was able to jump up in his career and we were able to really grow closer as a family.  We met so many amazing people that I still miss and our eyes were opened to a lot.  I'll forever be grateful for our time in North Carolina.  It also always felt temporary and a necessary stepping stone in where we wanted to be but not a long term thing.  Our home in Idaho is our home and we feel like we're doing and living where we're supposed to be.

Baseball season!

Look at that cute little man looking all grown up.

Aiden wasn't old enough for baseball this year so he and Sammy always liked the park toys

Soccer!

Funny story: the night our renters moved out she sent me a picture of this little kitten and said, "This kitten just came out from under the shed and apparently has made a home here." or something like that.  I figured we'd find the owners that she belonged to but that was unsuccessful and the kids were immediately obsessed with her.  So...our welcome home gift was a little kitten.  It was kind of fitting since the same thing happened when we lived here before and now we have 3 outdoor cats.  They keep the mice down but I hope no one else decides our house is a great place to drop off unwanted cats.  We have enough!  But we do love her.

Especially Sammy...bless this kitten's soul.  She is patient and puts up with a lot from Sam.

Patrick's art work and spring time!

Since our house here in Rexburg was rented out until May(the timing of everything didn't quite work out), we had an extended sleepover at Grandma's house this winter/spring.  The boys loved switching to the school district here since it's smaller and much friendlier and overall we feel like we're home again.
Patrick's school had an artist come and teach them how to do some pictures and Patrick loved it:

Christmas time

Not all of these pictures are from Christmas and I'm not sure why I don't have pictures of the boys in their Christmas clothes but yeah...it was a crazy time.;)
